Graduate Accountant


GLR currently has an opening available for an enthusiastic, motivated graduate to join our busy team.  This is a full-time role and previous experience is not necessary, however those with experience are also encouraged to contact us.


All training is provided, however a willingness to learn, the ability to work as part of a team, and good communication skills are essential.  We are looking for someone with a great attention to detail, who is interested in working in public practice accounting.


Our graduates learn how to prepare both individual and business tax returns, along with preparation of financial statements and completion of client BAS.


Ongoing training and support is provided via our Structured Pathways, to develop your career and progression within the firm. We also offer support for post-graduate studies and CPD learning.

Position available - Experienced tax accountant


We have an opportunity for an accountant with a minimum of 2 years public practice experience to join the GLR team.

We are looking for someone who is keen to apply the skills & experience they already have, and grow their career in a supportive, thriving practice.  Our existing team consists of a broad range of staff including trainees, graduates, CA's and managers who have been with us for many years, along with our Partners who have decades of experience. 


The Role

You would be responsible for the preparation of business entity tax returns, financial statements & BAS, along with other services provided to our valued business clients.  You would work as part of a specialised team to provide great service to our broad range of clients.

You will need

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a public accounting firm 
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Australian Accounting degree (completed or currently enrolled)
